Effective February 1, 2024, The Student Health Insurance Plan removed visit limits for outpatient mental health therapy/psychopharmacology visits and clinic/doctors’ office visits (diagnostic/specialty/sick).

If you waived the Student Health Insurance Plan for Spring 2024 and would like to re-enroll on the Student Health Insurance Plan because of these changes, you may do so until February 29, 2024.

To rescind your waiver:

Complete the waiver rescind application
Select “By the waiver deadline and without a loss of other coverage” as your reason
Email the form to Mservices@huhs.harvard.edu by 11:59PM ET on February 29, 2024

Requests received after February 29, 2024, will be subject to the standard waiver rescind policy requirements.

Rescinding Your Waiver

Re-Enroll in the Student Health Insurance Plan

Students who previously waived the Student Health Insurance Plan may be eligible to re-enroll in HUSHP if they meet certain criteria.

Find out if you are eligible by reviewing the Waiver Rescind Policy. If you meet the criteria, complete the rescind application (include documents when applicable) and return it to our office for processing.

Adding Dependents

Students who re-enroll and want to enroll their dependents in HUSHP must be enrolled in both the Student Health Fee and the Student Health Insurance plan. Your waiver rescind must be processed before you can enroll dependents.
